Just this morning I was thinking about my trip to Puroland/Japan, that all sanrio fans are meant to do. And I realized suddenly, that I did not see a single piece of merch related to chococat neither in Puroland nor any other Sanrio shops I visited around. Back then I felt that there was something missing but I could not point out what until this morning. Sorry for that, my hunting was for another character but certainly if I would have found some chococat merch I would have bought it, I also like him a ton, but then again not my fav. Although, I also felt a sense of injustice to realize its lack of presence and therefore I ended in this post willing to comment.
he's literally my favorite character !! all of my school supplies were chococat themed for YEARS and i still have a chococat journal somewhere, it makes me so sad he's not as popular :(
My fave Sanrio character is Pekkle and they don’t let him have anything. He appears now and then in group merch, but he’s often interchanged w Tuxedo Sam :(

i FINALLY found a plush of chococat at the universal studios in los angeles and i'm never letting him go
